Being rather under the weather with some kind of inner ear infection, I decided not to chance any more bush camping until I was better so we returned to Brisbane.
Being our wedding anniversary, we splashed out on take-away Thai food and a bottle of Evans and Tate Margaret River Classic White. Both the food and the wine were superb and we both considered that we had celebrated 38 years of marriage very well.
We had passed a sign announcing "Brisbane City Mud Springs" many times on the way from Aspley to Ferny Hills. I decided we should know what it was all about so we stopped, took a photo and read the explanatory text on the sign
