We finally escaped from the city.

We drove the best part of 350 kilometres (220 miles) which is more than we like to do in a day but we have made good progress towards Brisbane.

We have stayed in the caravan park in Croki before and it is always a delight to come here. It is so peaceful and so beautiful with lots of green grass and trees, the wide expanse of the river at our doorstep, and lots of birds. We couldn't resist staying two nights.

I finally used up the bait I had bought in Port Macquarie in July last year. It must have been all right as I caught several little fish.
