We set off after breakfast heading towards the Hume Highway. The plan was to check out all the sites between here and Sydney on the Hume Highway, the Barton Highway and the Federal Highway.

We only have three or four days left before we must be in Sydney so some of this might not happen but we can only do our best.

By morning tea time we had reached Gundagai, by lunchtime we had reached Jugiong and by knock off time we had reached a rest area on the Mundoonen Hills just past Yass.

This is an amazing place. It is very big, it is highly organised with separate areas for cars and for trucks and buses, it has parking spaces separated by kerbs and shrubs and it has a very swish amenities block. The down side is that none of the truck sites is level. We found ourselves going out the exit before we discovered that the area is all one way so we parked on a nice level piece of ground on the side of the exit road.
