We waited until everyone else had left Heifer Creek to run the generator to charge the batteries and to use the sewing machine to make my costume for the entertainment on Thursday afternoon, a knights cloak.

When I had finished the sewing, I discovered that the battery charger had detected an error with the mains supply from the generator and had failed to put any charge into the battery. I cleared the fault and left the generator running for another hour before we left Heifer Creek to go to Nobby for the next overnight stop

We all camped up by the railway line and spent the afternoon watching the trucks coming and going through the weighbridge.

It was a bit chilly and a bit like rain but we had a good happy hour nevertheless.

We all had dinner of roast beef with the works in Rudds Pub and the chapter executives entertained us with brilliant "Tudor" costumes and an amusing little bit of poetic theatre or maybe theatrical poetry. We swapped jokes over a few more drinks before retiring to our motorhomes for the night, having had a very pleasant evening.
