We had to leave Forbes because they had a 24 hour limit on camping in the Lions Park. Before we left, I carried out a survey of the other RV owners who spent the night here. The question was "Would you have gone into a caravan park in the town if the park wasn't available for overnight camping. All but one said "definitely not". The odd man out said "Perhaps, but probably not". So much for the caravan park owner's argument that allowing camping in the park decreases their income.

We headed on to the south and stopped at a place called Mirrool which offers "free camping".

We had to take care of the fruit before we enter the fruit fly exclusion zone which is now very close. We ate bananas and mandarins and cooked apples, plums and nectarines. We can take grapes, onions and potatoes into the zone so we will be OK.

It was very hot and the generator ran overtime to keep the air-conditioner going.
