Tuesday 20th

Jean had a girl's day out with Helene.

I did a handful of maintenance jobs on on the Motley including changing the water filters. I was amazed at the increased flow from the filtered water tap.

I spent the rest of the day working on Eco-Camping Australia documentation, Ross is keen to start certifying new people so I have to get some more documents prepared.

Wednesday 21st

We went into Cooroy in the morning to do a little shopping. I bought a new 512MB memory stick to serve as a "transfer to PC" device.

Helene's daughter Wendy has a problem with databases of her husband's business. The Mac she used to use has finally failed catastrophically after seven years and she can't afford to replace it. All the data is on a memory stick but it is not possible to load this data onto a PC without some intervention to make the files accessible and to put the results on a PC readable memory stick . I had offered to work on this problem for her and Helene brought the memory stick back to me here. I spent the rest of the day trying to sort out the problems. I tested my first effort on Phil's PC and found that I had made unwarranted assumptions about some of the files and have a fair bit more work to do.

Thursday 22nd

I spent the ,morning revising the work on Wendy's stuff but it was still needed a bit of work. The Mac writing to a PC formatted memory stick still insists on writing .DS Store files but I found that this could be taken care of on the PC.

I did the laundry and then some more work on Wendy's stuff.

I had a phone call from my solicitor who complimented me on the Draft Licence Agreement. He said he would have used different language but the meaning was quite clear so it was OK. He did suggest that we add a clause setting out an arbitration procedure to deal with any difficulties. I'll do a final revision and run it by Ross and the solicitor before I send it to CMCA.

In the evening Philip and Helene took us out to dinner, They planned to o to the RSL but they were queuing for food so we went to Patna Thai instead. They were a bit disorganised and our food didn't come all at the same time but when we it came it was pretty good.

Friday 23rd

When I woke up I found that it was raining a bit. I felt a bit second hand so I veged out. It rained on and off all day.

I got phone call from Ross K which gave me some more jobs to do. I'll try and get them done on the weekend.

Saturday 24th

It rained on and off all day. We went to town to do the shopping and had coffee at Pete's Cafe.

I did more work on the ECA doco and got everything ready for review. I sent the whole lot to Ross.

We had supper with the Procters and chatted for a long while imbibing much wine.

Sunday 25th

It was still pretty cloudy but the rain seems to have gone away. Having finished all my current tasks, I took a day off. I watched the motor racing on TV in the afternoon. Helene had a big family dinner to which we were invited.
