We had remained in Brisbane to allow us to spend time with the family at a Sunday picnic at Scarborough. We left Wyllie Park early to get to Scarborough before the crowd in an attempt to get a good parking spot for the Motley. We were able to get into the car park because there were very few others there. I parked nose first and realised that I needed to turn the Motley around because I wouldn't have any manoeuvring room when the car park filled up. This turned out to be very appropriate.

The family gathering was very pleasant. We had quite a good picnic with ham rolls, chicken, salad, cold dhal, fruit and sweet biscuits. It was good to be able to provide tea from the kitchen in the Motley.

As we plan to join the Darling Downs Drifters at their chapter gathering at Cooyar next weekend, we headed off up the hill towards Kilcoy. As it was getting late, I decided to stop a Cruice Park at Woodford.
